Privacy policy

When you create an account, we collect your email address and the six digit code we send to confirm it.

With the signup we record the page and section you signed up from, campaign markers in the link you arrived by (such as utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign), your IP address and your browser's user agent. We use these to prevent abuse and to understand which pages are useful.

When you use the product, we store the data you put in for your plant: orders, products, routings, work centers, shifts, schedules, and the names and email addresses of the users you invite.

The demo on the home page runs entirely in your browser. The orders and settings you change in the demo are not sent to us.

• To prevent fraud and abuse, and to keep the service running
• To understand which pages and features are used, in aggregate

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your plant's data to advertise to anyone.

Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on the performance of our contract with you for account and product data, on our legitimate interest in running and protecting the service for signup records and security logs, and on your consent where we ask for it.

We use service providers to host the product, store backups and deliver email. They process data only on our instructions and only for these purposes. We disclose data to authorities only when the law requires it.

• Account and plant data: for as long as your subscription is active, and deleted after it ends
• Signup records for accounts that never became active: up to 24 months
• Security logs: up to 12 months
• Backups: overwritten on a rolling basis within 35 days of deletion from the live system

The site uses cookies that are needed for it to work, such as the session cookie that keeps you signed in and the one that protects forms. We do not use advertising cookies.

You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw any consent you have given. Write to [email protected] from the address on your account and we act on it within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, backed up daily, and access is limited by roles. More on the production planning data security page.

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we tell account holders by email before the change takes effect, and the date at the top of this page changes with it.
